Our marina has its own fuel station directly on the waterfront. At our fuel station, you can refuel with HVO100, the renewable alternative to GTL, as well as Super 98 petrol.
HVO stands for Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil. HVO100 is a renewable diesel fuel produced by treating oils and fats with hydrogen. The feedstocks can include waste and residual materials such as used cooking and frying oils, animal fats and plant-based residues. The production process results in a fuel whose properties are very similar to those of fossil diesel.
HVO100 offers several benefits compared with fossil diesel:
By switching to HVO100, we are taking another step towards making our fuel supply more sustainable. The use of HVO100 is therefore part of Jachthaven De Drait’s sustainability policy.
The waterfront fuel station is located next to our marina building at Buitenstvallaat 2 in Drachten.
